HT8

The HT8 Task Force is the official human trafficking task force for Florida’s 8th Judicial Circuit, serving Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Gilchrist, Levy, and Union counties, and is listed by the Florida Attorney General’s Office under its formal name, the North Central Florida HT Task Force. Founded in 2012 after a survivor of child sex trafficking came forward and exposed a critical gap in local victim resources, the Task Force has grown into a coalition uniting law enforcement, victim service providers, faith-based and community organizations, educators, and concerned citizens. Through coordinated partnerships, survivor support, and public education, HT8 works to identify victims, strengthen protective systems, and build a community-wide response to end human trafficking across North Central Florida.
